Studio ’71 is proud to announce that Rock Camp for Kids is now officially partnered with Good Vibes Rock School.
Kids! it is time to ROCK! we are going to have a lot of fun. Your Rock Camp ‘Mentors‘ are made up from International Performing Artists to experienced session musicians.
Parents, this week your kids are about to engage in a life changing experience. In 5 days your kids will; form a band, create a band logo, write a song, learn how to play it on their chosen instrument, rehearse it and then perform their song LIVE in front of a public audience.
Each day will start at 9am and finish at 1pm at The Hideout in The Village. On the last day of the camp, the first of the final shows will take place at The Hideout, time tbc. The second of the final shows will be take place at a popular local venue opening a Fatiniza Show. We look forward to you, your family and friends coming along to see what your kids have been working hard on all week.
Lunch is not included. Please send your kid with a packed lunch, snacks and drinks.
Fatiniza is an international Award Winning Singer Songwriter from Colombia. Fatiniza has been performing on the international scene with her original music for over 10 years and has over 40 songs released and available on Spotify, Apple Music and other major digital platforms. Fatiniza has performed shows around the world in front of large audiences such as the Formula 1, EXPO 2020, various Music Festivals and opened for several international bands and artists. Fatiniza was a brand ambassador for Nokia Smart Phones, Shure and Sennheiser Microphones and was a Coach & Mentor at Rock Camp for Girls in Dubai. Fatiniza will be your Rock Camp Leader & Vocal Coach.

¡Bienvenido a Rock Camp for Kids Costa Rica!
Kids from 8 to 16 years old come together for a five-day course on how to rock in more ways than one. It doesn’t even matter if your kids have never picked up an Instrument, if they have the right attitude, we will make a Rock Star of them in 5 days.
The camp will give the kids the opportunity to participate in workshops on:
- Playing an instrument they express an interest in or singing
- Being in a band & working as a team
- Song writing
- Overcoming stage fright
- Creating band logos
- Setting up PA systems
- Dressing & Performing like a Rock Star
On the final day of Rock Camp your amazing kids will perform as a real band on a real stage, with lights & sound, in a real venue, with real instruments for a real crowd! How cool is that? Rock n Roll Baby!
If your kid already has an aptitude for an instrument they can stick with it or learn something new. It all depends on the dynamics of the band they are grouped with. Well-rounded musicians stay interested, so learning more than 1 instrument and learning to sing is the way to a bright future as a musician.
Kids in our camp become apprentices of our experienced musicians including award winning and International Singer Songwriter, Fatiniza. We call them all, Mentors.
Our mentors understand better than anyone what hurdles must be overcome when starting out as a musician. As young ones, some of these hurdles are amplified so we take time to work through individual challenges in a nurturing and cooperative environment.

July 3 to 7 & July 17 to 21

Each Rock Camp is limited to 16 kids and they are divided into bands of 4 kids. Sign up early to avoid disappointment.

Niños y niñas entre 8 a 16 años se reúnen para un curso de cinco días sobre cómo rockear en más de un sentido. No importa si sus hijos nunca han aprendido un instrumento, si tienen la actitud correcta, los convertiremos en una estrella de rock en 5 días.
El campamento les dará a los niños la oportunidad de participar en talleres sobre:
- Tocar un instrumento que les interese o cantar
- Estar en una banda y trabajar en equipo
- Escritura de canciones
- Superar el miedo escénico
- Creación de logotipos de bandas
- Configuración de sistemas PA
- Vestirse y Actuar como una estrella de rock
¡En el último día de Rock Camp, sus increíbles hijos actuarán como una banda real, en un escenario real con luces y sonido, en un verdadera locación, con instrumentos reales para una multitud real! ¿Cuan genial es esto? ¡Rock n Roll Baby!
Si su hijo ya tiene aptitudes para un instrumento, puede seguir utilizándolo o aprender algo nuevo. Todo depende de la dinámica de la banda en la que se agrupen. Los músicos bien formados se quedan con él, por lo que aprender más de un instrumento y aprender a cantar es el camino hacia un futuro brillante como músico.
Los niños de nuestro campamento se convierten en aprendices de nuestros experimentados músicos, incluida la galardonada y cantautora internacional Fatiniza. Los llamamos a todos, Mentores.
Nuestros mentores comprenden mejor que nadie los obstáculos que hay que superar al empezar como músico. Cuando somos jóvenes, algunos de estos obstáculos se amplifican, por lo que nos tomamos el tiempo para trabajar en los desafíos individuales en un entorno enriquecedor y cooperativo.
